In stock
Rapé Kanna is rather delicate, created in Ecuador.
It contains leaves from the plant Sceletium tortuosum, which is also called Kanna, or “African plant of happiness”. We also have this plant available in the form of ground powder and extracts (more here).
You can use this rapé for treating sadness, depression and “low-vibration emotions”.
Kanna (Latin Sceletium tortuosum) is a succulent plant native to South Africa, where it still grows today. It belongs to the Aizoaceae family. It grows to a height of 30 centimeters, but tends to expand. The leaves are 4 cm wide, light green and fleshy. The flowers are white-yellow to light orange. The petals are many in the shape of thin petals.
Kanna has a firm foothold in southern Africa in traditional folk medicine. But it is slowly spreading around the world.
South African herders, hunters and gatherers have been used since prehistoric times as a so-called mood modulator. The first mention of the herb was written in 1662 by Jan Van Riebeeck, who described why the herb was used. Kanna has traditionally been chewed or eaten dried. She is also often smoked or sniffed. Another popular way was the production of tinctures.
How does Kanna work?
Kanna can help improve mood, reduce anxiety, stress and tension. It’s used for depression, communication disorders, excessive stress and nervous exhaustion. It has been found that Kanna can also affect concentration by stimulating the central brain and nervous system. It is suitable for people suffering from burnout syndrome, reduced empathy and other mental problems.

Conscious use – ritual
Rapé is a sacred Amazonian instrument, and the indigenous tribes pass it on to us with this message: “The use of rapé should always be associated with prayer or ritual and accepted or given in respect and humility, it will be very helpful if a clear intention is added. The effects and realization of the plan will thus be intensified.”
