In stock
The rose from Jericho, in Latin Selaginella lepidophylla from the family Selaginellaceae, rolls like a ball through deserts and as soon as it encounters moisture, it develops into green beauty. We can enjoy the unique company of this little-known flower.
It will definitely serve as an original gift for you and your loved ones. Let this ornamental rose into your home and watch you and the flower come to life and joy.
How to reveal the hidden charm of the Rose of Jericho?
When you buy it, it is brown and dry. As soon as you place it in a bowl or cup of water, it will soon turn green and open up to the world. As soon as it loses the moisture, it hides its exceptional face and rolls back into a ball.
The Rose of Jericho scents the room and clears the air. Its unmistakable aroma relieves the respiratory problems of your family members.
Instructions
Fill a plate or bowl with clean water and place a dry flower inside. After only a few minutes, you will witness the beginning of a miracle, and by the next day, the plant will wake up from its sleep. Once the Rose of Jericho has fully developed, pour off the excess water and leave only the roots submerged in the water. The desert plant will make you happy for a few days. After 5 to 8 days, remove it from the water, allow it to dry and allow it to rest for at least 2 weeks. When you desire its company again, repeat the whole process.
The Rose of Jericho has theoretically unlimited “durability”, surviving in the deserts for tens to hundreds of years. To last as long as possible, alternate regular greening cycles with sufficiently long rest cycles.
