Handmade Shamanic Drum made of Deer Leather 40 CM

Drum is one of the oldest musical instruments. With his help, man secured the favor of spirits, asked for help from the force of the other world, introduced himself to changed states of consciousness, thanked higher beings. Drumming sounds like the heartbeat of Mother Earth, bringing everything back into balance.

Our drums are manufactured in an energetically clean place, with good intentions and an honest mind. Tobacco and sage are sacrificed for reconciliation to the animals that provided their skin.

Deer skin is stretched on a wooden frame. It is minimally modified, only treated against rot and pests. It retains the properties of rawhide – it reacts to air humidity. If it is high, it is a good idea to heat the drum, whether by a radiator or an open flame, at a distance that your palm can withstand.

It may happen that you do not “fit together” with the drum (for example, a young girl buys a drum with strong – male – energy), we will be happy to replace it for you.

How to choose the “right” drum size?

30 cm – suitable for beginners, also for those who plan to travel, suitable for occasional playing, the sound is more for “gentle characters” 🙂

40 cm – compromise between weight, sound volume and size, suitable for beginners and more advanced masters – the most universal size

50 cm – suitable for those who are really serious about playing the drum, it has a deep captivating sound, we recommend it for experienced drummers (or for those who want to become experienced)

Mallet

The drum mallet is not included, it must be purchased separately. We offer it here. However, it is possible to play without a mallet, on the contrary, it often sounds better (play only by hand).
