Rapé blend CUMARU from the Brazilian Indians of the Katukina tribe was sent to us by our friend Rafa. It is very strong and provides us deep relaxation. The effect enters the body in slow strong waves, in a very different way than, for example, Tsunu.
Cumaru (botanically Dipteryx odorata) is a very special tree for Indians from the Acre region, its fruits are aromatic so-called tomka beans. The tree grows to a size of about 25-30 meters, with a trunk up to one meter in diameter. The bark of the tree is smooth and gray, while the wood is red. Indigenous people put tonka seeds on a string and wear them around their necks as protection against various diseases. They use the prepared decoction to sweat and soothe cramps. Cumaru tincture is used to relieve various types of pain, oil pressed from seeds is used for abdominal pain, for aphthae and to support hair growth. Tonka seeds are also used in traditional medicine for diarrhea, colds and coughs.
Rapé Katukina CUMARU Activates the third chakra and the crown chakra, calms the mental (analytical) mind and opens spiritual, subtle centers and processes in the body. It helps and deepens meditations. It is a classic two-component rapé, containing Mapacho (Nicotiana rustica) and ash from the Cumaru tree (Dipteryx odorata).

Conscious use – ritual
Rapé is a sacred Amazonian instrument, and the indigenous tribes pass it on to us with this message: “The use of rapé should always be associated with prayer or ritual and accepted or given in respect and humility, it will be very helpful if a clear intention is added. The effects and realization of the plan will thus be intensified. It is important to keep your heart clean at all times.”
