Ibogaine HCl, or ibogaine hydrochloride, is the main active substance – an alkaloid from the African bush Tabernanthe Iboga. It is Iboga in its purest form. Ibogaine is one of several active ingredients in Iboga. Iboga powder typically contains other active substances such as ibogaline and ibogamine. Ibogaine HCl is a form of Iboga that does not contain these related substances – in contrast to Ibogaine TA, which contains active substances other than ibogaine.

Effects

Pure Ibogaine has a slightly different effect than iboga powder precisely because the effect of ibogaline and ibogamine is not combined with ibogaine.
