Botanically Entada rheedii, folk dream beans or African dream plant – these are the three most common names for this interesting plant. It is a climbing woody creeper originating from Africa, reaching a length of a respectable 50 meters. Entada is a dioecious plant whose fruit is a huge pod reaching a size of over 1 meter. The pod contains flat beans about 6 centimeters in size, which have a very hard shell. Traditionally, a decoction is used, raw beans are eaten or seed powder is smoked in combination with tobacco. The powder we offer is made from the white interiors of these beans.

Effects

The most significant effects are the induction of lucid (vivid) dreams, the ability to open communication channels with the spiritual world, and it is said that happiness accompanies users everywhere.

Use

The effective dose of dream bean extract varies greatly for different people, different sources recommend doses from 0.3 grams up to 1 gram for internal use by decoction. This is obtained by pouring a measured dose of the extract with 0.25 L of boiling water, leting it stand for 10 minutes and serving. Traditional use is also smoking, where bean powder is mixed with tobacco and wrapped in a cigarette or stuffed into a pipe. Some sources also state that the bean extract can be vaporized, where the dose starts at 0.05 grams. We recommend rather careful use, however, dream beans are not poisonous.
