The name Brahmi is derived from the word Brahma, which is a Hindu god.

Bacopa Monnieri calms the mind and promotes relaxation, increases protein synthesis and activity in brain cells. It improves memory, reduces anxiety, restlessness and senile dementia.

It is used to restore memory, improve speech performance and imagination and to relieve nervous and spiritual tension.

It cleanses blood and it is considered useful for inflammations, chronic skin diseases, high fevers, hair loss and for blood pressure control.

It restores brain cells and nerves, supports blood flow to the brain, improves short-term and long-term memory. It dilates blood vessels, capillaries and thus increases blood flow to the brain. It works against senility and aging and thus alleviates the symptoms of Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease. Brahmi is recommended for those who need to improve concentration and ability to learn.

It has rejuvenating effects, it is an herb of longevity, it increases resistance to stress. It helps the vascular system, varicose veins and ceulitis.

Use

Mix 1 tsp(6 g) twice a day in warm water after a meal. Or you can make a tea: Pour 1 tsp of brahmi over 250 ml of boiling water and let it infuse for at least 10 minutes. To increase the effect, cook the same amount for 3 minutes and serve.

Warning

Not intended for children under 3 years, pregnant and brest-feeding women. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. It is not a substitute for medicines, medical care or a varied diet.
