Aqua de Kananga is an aromatic “shamanic” essence, something like, say, cologne, according to the original recipe from 1808. Aqua de Kananga contains the fragrant essences of the Kananga fragrant plant, or Ylang Ylang (botanically Cananga odorata) from the bottle family (Annonaceae).

The Kananga plant, in spiritual terms, brings and strengthens confidence and trust in oneself, releasing difficult feelings and opening new paths. It promotes the attainment of new forms and styles of conception of life. It calms the mind and helps with psychosomatic ailments. Increases, or rather dynamizes, libido. Also, according to experience, it repels evil energies and attracts positive ones. It is also used, for example, when you want to cleanse your home and turn it into a centre of happiness, love and pleasant energy.

Some South American herbalists report that it is in some cases more effective than the more unfamiliar Aqua de Florida.
