Ambil is a traditional Colombian medicine. Many of you already know tobacco in the form of “Mapacho” incense or ground tobacco as the main component of “shamanic rapé tobacco”. In Colombia, tobacco is used for smoking and cleansing in the form of cigars, and it is also used to make ambil tobacco paste.

According to tradition, Ambil is the “Medicine of the Blessing”. It brings blessings to the persons who use it, and he or she can pray for anything or anybody…

In Colombia, it is also used with a special powder called Mambe (powder of coca leaves), but Ambil can also be used separately.
