Some of you have been asking us when the meditation pyramid would be available, so it’s finally ready.

It is a 1:100 or 1:120 scale replica of the Pyramid of Cheops (Khufu) at Giza.

Dimensions:

In both cases, the wooden parts are assembled in two pieces for easy storage or transport. The maximum dimension of one piece is about 120 cm.

The indoor version is currently in stock. We will also have a slightly more expensive exterior version available on order in about 2 weeks.

The pyramid is suitable for both lying and sitting meditation. It can easily accommodate a mattress or a low bed of about 200×200 cm.

Be warned, usually about a quarter to an hour in a pyramid this big is recommended, a whole night is usually counterproductive and too strong, but you have to find your optimum. Some people don’t mind and are comfortable with it.

About our folding meditation pyramid

• The design is done with sensitivity to the wood and in a way that minimally disturbs the unity and purity
• The design is prepared with ease of assembly and disassembly for one person in mind.
• The printed parts are made from eco-friendly PLA (polylactic acid) bioplastic, which is usually derived from fermented starches such as corn starch, and merely interlock the wooden parts with minimal interference to the wood structure.
• The screws are made of non-magnetic metal (A2 stainless steel).
• Use is indoors only – an exterior version can be ordered within 2 weeks – it will not be made of bioplastic which will become brittle in the sun (UV) and will be a different wood finish.
• All edges of the pyramid are joined in two pieces, so the pyramid size in transport condition is 120 cm.
• Beware of the larger dimensions of the folded pyramid – check if it will fit in your apartment, in the 1:100 version the base is a square of 240 cm, in the 1:120 version the base is 194 cm base and 127 cm height.
• It is recommended to align the folded pyramid according to the cardinal directions. Use a compass, a watchword or there are mobile apps.
• The pyramid design and printed parts are by Josef Mašek from Prague.
• The wooden parts are made by Jakub Holzknecht. They are made of coniferous wood (spruce, pine, larch, …), the color and pattern of the wood may differ from the photos on the site.
• Wood finish: oil – the wood is partially protected, minimally subject to change and moisture, but still breathes a little. It is not completely protected against liquids and dirt.
