Rapé Caneleiro is a very high quality rapé from the Huni Kuin tribe from Brazil. The ash from the dry branches of the Caneleiro tree (Pachyramphus castaneus) is added to the strong Mapacho.
Caneleiro (Cenostigma macrophyllum)
The Caneleiro Cenostigma macrophyllum tree is classified in the broadleaf family (Fabaceae), and is about 10-20 metres (10-20 ft) tall. It is also known by the names Maraximbé or Fava do Campo. Caneleiro trees are most conspicuous at flowering time, you can find them throughout almost all of Brazil from September to December and from February to June. The flowers are yellow and resemble orchids and attract a large number of insects.
