Ipomoea tricolor is a plant with beautiful blue flowers. It belongs to the Convolvulaceae family, which includes sweet potatoes and also some hallucinogenic plants. The plant comes from the tropical climate zone of Central and South America, however nowadays it is grown wherever the conditions are suitable. As the name already suggests, the creeper is a climbing plant reaching a height of up to 4 meters. The flowers are beautiful and blue and have a trumpet shape. An interesting fact is that the color of the flowers can change depending on the pH of the soil.
The seeds of this plant naturally contain LSA, or lysergic acid amide, which is a substance similar to LSD.
