Aqua de Florida is probably the most famous aromatic “shamanic” essence, something like, say, cologne, according to the original recipe from 1808.
It contains 20 types of essential oils extracted from flowers.
South American shamans often ritually use this perfume in the same way as Catholic priests use holy water – to purify and protect people or spaces.
Agua de Florida is thought to remove heavy and negative vibrations, lead to the channeling of spirits, and bring good luck and protection to the wearer.
