This new rapé blend from the Poyanawa tribe uses Corda tobacco and Murici ash in combination with an herb called Pixuri, which gives it a pleasant aroma and special character. Poyanawa doesn’t make many different recipes, but Pixuri is a typical product of their culture and it’s worth a try. This Rapé is made up by Pajé, the tribe’s healer. To produce Rapé the Poyanawa people use the leaves of the Murici tree. When asked why they use Murici and not other ashes, they replied it is stronger.
The initial effects are mild and the warming sensation gradually increases upto an intense burning sensation. You can expect a lot of sneezing, mucus secretion and itching and tickling of the nose. Subsequently, a calm state and mental clarity surrounds the user. Pixuri enhances user’s ability to breathe fresh air. It is a very fine and dry powder.
Other common names: Pixuri, Murici, Poyanawa
